The Leading Light Technology Academy (LL-Tech Academy) is a tech entrepreneurship program that empowers youths and women with hardware and software repair skills. The main objectives of the LL-Tech Academy are to:
Develop competence in technology
Innovate and co-create solutions
Launch new profitable tech businesses
At the end of the skills training program, participants receive in-kind capital in the form of tool kits and mentorship that enables them to start and run successful IT repair businesses.After the skills program, alumni are enrolled in GLLI’s 3-month Cisco IT Essentials program, where they are prepared to write the Cisco IT Essentials and CompTIA A+ certificate exams. These IT entry-level certificates in the IT industry will enable them to become more credible business owners or employees in the IT industry.
